INFORMATION about the APARTMENT, and area LA MANGA.
Welcome 
The owners of this apartment are three hard working Norwegians.
They have purchased the apartment for themselves to have a place to spend their holidays,
but they are, of course dependent on to get hired out the time they not even uses it,
in order to cope with all expenses it leads to own an apartment on La Manga.
LA MANGA is a quiet and idyllic place, for all categories of vacations (holidays).
Info outside apartment/terrace:
Large south/west turned terrace with afternoon and evening-sun, common pool,
and beach at both sides of the apartment.
Info about cleaning:
Cleaning can be arranged before leaving at extra cost, or you may clean yourself.
Information about contact-person
on La Manga:
Our contact-person on La Manga, lives in Playa Principe. This person is Spanish, and talks English very well, German, Italian and Swiss, in addition to Spanish. Also this is the person who will provide keys to the apartment, checking between each lodger that the apartment is cleaned, and that nothing is damaged before we pay back the deposit. Since this person lives on Playa Principe, La Manga, the person know the area well, and my be contacted if needed. (For instance; tell you where in La Manga to find a dentist, doctor, pharmacy..)

Airplane to Murcia or Alicante. From Murcia approx. 1/2 hour driving. From Alicante approx. 1 1/2 hour.

Busses from Playa Principe both south to Cabo de Palos and north to Puerto Tomas Maestre every 45. minute
during the winter, and every 30. minutes in summer season.

La Manga is the European Florida - without hurricanes or other devastating winds.
There is no other place in Europe you can enjoy life between two seas, and go from the terrace to choose if you want to take a bath in the Mediterranean Sea or Mar Menor (the little sea ) which is beautifully located between La Manga and the mainland.

The Costa Calida (Warm Coast) is the approximately 250 km stretch of Mediterranean coastline of the
Spanish province of Murcia. This region has a micro-climate which features comparatively hot mean
annual temperatures (and hence its name, "Warm Coast") and a relative degree of aridity
(precipitation averaging less than 34 cm annually).
AREA la manga del mar MENOR 
La Manga is a paradise for sun, sea and sand lovers; it is a sleeve of land between the Mediterranean Ocean and the Mar Menor, a lagoon that is over 60 square miles of warm water. Every kind of water sport can be found along this 20 km strip of land and so many beaches that you will rarely come across a crowded beach.
It is not just the water sports that attract so many visitors, close by we have a National Nature reserve, trekking and horse riding, mountain biking, go-carting, fishing, a good size Sunday market, a 'Bohemian' market and of course the La Manga Club where you can find some of the best Golf courses and Tennis courts in Spain.
For a day out visit Cartagena to see the oldest sea port in the world, here you can look around an on-going dig for Roman ruins or enjoy the new Marina area. Murcia, about 40 minutes away is very good for shopping, museums and really is a beautiful town to wander around.
Climate
The weather reaches temperatures of up to 40 ºC in summer, and hardly less than 15 ºC during winter, and the sun shines for an average of 320 days per year. The climate of La Manga is recognized as one of the best in the world by the World Health Organisation. (WHO) People with arthritis come to the Costa Blanca and within days start to feel much better. In winter the Costa Blanca enjoys nearly as many sunny days as during the summer.
